Description of Windsor, Massachusetts
Windsor is a small, rural community sitting atop one of the many lovely hills of Berkshire County. It is a residential town comprised of a few small farms, a hilltop general store which has been owned by the same family for several generations, and a population which shares immense pride in its pristine beauty.
Windsor is a small town which behaves like a large family. Its residents care about one another and come together for various annual functions such as firemen's picnics, the annual children's Christmas party, and Little League pancake breakfasts.
Northwestern Massachusetts, bordered by Savoy on the north, Plainfield and Cummington on the east, Peru and Hinsdale on the south, and Dalton and Cheshire on the west. Windsor is 12 miles northeast of Pittsfield, 44 miles southwest of Greenfield, and 125 miles northwest of Boston.
