C. M. Gardner State Park is a small property located
on a scenic section of the East Branch of the Westfield River. The
river is shallow and a delightful spot for wading, swimming and
relaxing in a sunlit mountain stream. There is a picnic area on
the banks of the river.
Two impressive flood control dams – the
Knightville Dam and the Littleville Dam, each over 160 feet high
– are nearby. They are managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
and have small public picnic areas near the dam face.

C.M. Gardner State Park is located in western Massachusetts.
From east or west: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte. I-90)
to exit 3, Rte. 10/202 south, Rte. 20 west, Rte. 112 north, follow
signs.
